Who the Controller Is and How to Reach Them

Decisions about processing personal data on this website are made by the operator of betano-vstup.cz, who is their controller. At contact@betano-vstup.cz you can ask the controller anything concerning your data, and the same route lets you exercise your rights.

Which Data Are Processed

We process only what the website needs in order to run, stay protected and measure its traffic, plus what you send us yourself in an enquiry:

  • technical details of the visit: IP address, operating system, device and browser type, time of access and the addresses of the pages you open; they serve to run and secure the website and for analytics;
  • cookies, which are dealt with in more detail in the section on cookies further down this page;
  • the content of an email you send to contact@betano-vstup.cz: your address, the text of the message and your signature if you add one.

The website does not process data concerning gambling, identity verification or payments, nor data of Betano players.

Recipients of the Data

Only two groups of recipients may have access to the data, and solely for running the website and for analytics. The first are hosting and CDN providers, thanks to whom the pages run, stay available and are protected. The second are web analytics providers, who process traffic statistics used to fine-tune how the website works. We give their names only where they are publicly identifiable on the website. We do not provide data to other third parties without a legal reason or to unverified entities.

Data Outside the EU and EEA

Data leave the European Union and the European Economic Area in a single case only: when analytics run on a tool whose provider is based elsewhere. Such a transfer is backed by the standard contractual clauses provided for in Art. 46 GDPR, which keep the level of protection adequate even there. If no service outside the EU/EEA is used, nothing is sent to third countries.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. you can:

  • see which of your data we process (Art. 15),
  • get inaccurate data put right (Art. 16),
  • have data erased under the conditions of Art. 17, the so-called “right to be forgotten”,
  • have processing restricted (Art. 18),
  • receive your data and move them elsewhere, where we process them automatically based on consent or a contract (Art. 20),
  • raise an objection where processing rests on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
  • take back your consent; whatever we processed before that remains lawful.

Time Limit for Our Reply

We deal with requests sent to contact@betano-vstup.cz without undue delay, within 30 days of receiving them at the latest. Only for a complex request or a larger number of requests may the period be extended by a further two months; if that happens, we will let you know.

Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

If you think the processing of your personal data is in breach of the law, you may complain to the supervisory body. That body is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz), seated at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7.

Security

The connection between your browser and the website's server is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Access to personal data is protected by technical and organisational measures that match the current state of the art. The controller reviews its security settings regularly and takes steps to keep the risk of misuse of the data, and of unauthorised access to them, as small as possible.

Cookies on This Website

A cookie is a small text file a website leaves on your device. It keeps the site working, lets traffic be measured and may serve to adapt content or ads.

  • Essential cookies run the basic functions; without them the site might not work as it should. § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. allows them to be used without consent.
  • Analytical cookies collect anonymised usage statistics.
  • Marketing cookies enable personalised ads and the tracking of behaviour across sites.

Analytical and marketing cookies are set only after you agree. Your choice is held in the item ck-consent; how long it lasts depends on your browser settings.

You can manage and block cookies directly in your browser. In Google Chrome the path is Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and other site data. In Firefox, open Options, the Privacy & Security part and within it Cookies and Site Data. In Safari, look in Preferences under Privacy for Manage Website Data. In Microsoft Edge the path leads through Settings and Cookies and site permissions to Cookies and site data. Details are given in the help of the browser in question.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may change, for example when legislation or the way we process data is modified. The controller announces every significant change on the website, so it pays to check the current wording from time to time.
